Equip Corporation is a family owned and operated business. It has a history dating back to 1925. It began when two brothers, Albert & John Vallerie, moved goods between Norwalk and Danbury Connecticut. They founded Vallerie Transportation. Vallerie Transportation grew into one of the largest trucking companies in the Northeast. Equip Corporation was founded in 1963. Run by Albert E. Vallerie Jr., it rented the idle trailers to the public for storage.Though times have changed since yesteryear, Equip is still a family owned and operated company and, is still doing business with the practices and principles that have ushered it into the 21st century.
